Within Newcomers are interest groups: small gatherings that host activities and experiences for members. These two dozen interest groups are the "swizzle sticks" on the Newcomers menu of activities. Margarita Madness

Museum and a Meal

Let’s get to know each other by exploring museums, artists and restaurants in Denver, Boulder, Loveland, Longmont, Fort Collins and the Estes Valley. We’ll meet during the first week of the month, usually on a Thursday or Friday, and at varying times of the day depending on museum schedules and tour availability. Women’s Breakfast

Dining In

Members rotate hosting small groups for dinner. This group meets on the 1st Saturday evening each month, September through May. This group is currently looking for an interest group leader. For more information, email DiningIn@estesparknewcomers.org.

Pickleball

Come play pickleball with friends – no experience necessary. Meet at Estes Park Community Center on Fridays from 3-4:30. No need to register – just show up! For more information, email Pickleball@estesparknewcomers.org.

Jigsaw Juggling

Ladies Night Bunco

Golf

The Golf Interest Group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday morning of every month. The group is for members that want to gather with other members in a safe and fun way with a round of golf at the Estes Park 9-hole golf course. For more information contact Golf@EstesParkNewcomers.org.

Fireside Chats

Meet on the 3rd Friday of the month to hang out and socialize under the stars by a host’s fire pit or fireplace. For more information, email FiresideChats@EstesParkNewcomers.org.

Bird Watching

Weekend Warriors

Explore the great outdoors in the Estes Park area with fellow hikers. We explore the various trails in RMNP and the national forest with an occasional field trip to a neighboring town. Hiking Group

Hiking in RMNP and local trails on the 3rd Friday of each month, September through May. Generally between 3-6 miles. For more information, email Hiking@estesparknewcomers.org.

Easy Hiking Group

Hiking in RMNP and local trails on the 4th Wednesday of the month year-round. Targeting about two to three miles with minimal elevation gain. For more information, email EasyHiking@estesparknewcomers.org.

Solo Adventurers

Solo Adventurers is a welcoming and vibrant group designed for single members and those whose partners are geographically separated. For more information, email SoloAdventurers@estesparknewcomers.org.

Writers

Dancing

Meets monthly on Fridays, dance to live music with the Estes Park Friday Niters dance club. Dancing styles include ballroom, country, and line dancing. For more information, email Dancing@estesparknewcomers.org.

Bowling

Bowling meets weekly at the Bull Pin lanes on Mondays. On the first and third Mondays of each month, the group will meet from 4:00-5:30 pm. On the second and fourth Mondays of each month, the group will meet from 6:00-7:30 pm. Please register so the lanes can be reserved. For more information, email Bowling@estesparknewcomers.org.

Drink and Draw

Drink and Draw is open to current members and meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. This group is for members that want to get together and explore their artistic passion for drawing still life, while listening to music and enjoying their favorite libations.
