Club History and Mission
- The first meeting of the Newcomers Club was held in March of 1965, with 17 women participating.
- The club was “organized by and for the new women of Estes Park" and sought to establish “new friendships, varied interests, and pleasant social contact” among those women.
- The club remained a women’s social club until 1995 when the first man was recognized as a member of the club.
- The first male president was elected in 2018.
- Membership has grown from 17 to over 200 members as of 2022.
- Throughout the decades the Club has maintained a focus on monthly social functions, education about the community, physical well being through exercise, volunteerism and community service.
